NMR TRAINING

BUDGETS

We need to have a budget number on file to create your NMR account. The Chemistry Dept will create an account ID that is linked to your EFS chart string.
If you do not have an account ID, applying for a stockroom card will create one.

BRUKER AUTOSAMPLER TRAINING (AX-400; required for all new users)

Prerequisite: none

Training on the 400 autosampler is by appointment only.
Please sign up on the sheet posted by Letitia's office and a mutually agreeable time will be scheduled.

You will be trained on the Bruker 400 which will give you access to one-dimension al 1H, 13C, 19F, and 31P experiments, plus 13C-DEPT, COSY, HSQC, HMBC, NOESY, etc.
Autosampler training is required before training on the hands-on instruments.
Training cost: $20/person

Hands-on BRUKER training

Prerequisite: Bruker autosampler training

Please printout and complete the Bruker quiz. Training sessions will be scheduled after satisfactory completion of the quiz and will be performed in groups of 3-5.
Training cost: $45/person

Training sessions will be scheduled after satisfactory completion of the quiz and will be performed in groups of 3-5. Most answers are readily found in the instruction manuals, but some may require more effort.
