NMR TRAINING

Please know your budget number at the time of training so that your account can be created.

AUTOSAMPLERS (200 and 300 MHz instruments)

Training on the autosamplers is by appointment only. Please sign up on the sheet posted by the double doors and a mutually agreeable time will be scheduled. Or email us with the following information: name, research group, CUFS number, email address, and times NOT available. You will be trained on the VAC-300 and VAC-200 instruments which give you access to one-dimensional 1H, 13C, 19F, and 31P experiments, plus 13C-DEPT, COSY, and HETCOR. Autosampler training is required before training on the hands-on instruments.
Training cost: $10/person, billable to a university CUFS number.

HANDS-ON TRAINING (300 and 500 MHz instruments)

Training on the VXR-300, the VI-300 and VI-500 requires you to fill out the application and quiz. You must also be trained already on the autosamplers. Training sessions will be scheduled after satisfactory completion of the quiz and will be performed in groups of 3-5. Most answers are readily found in the 1D instruction manual, but some may require more effort. The training takes 1-2 hours after which you will have access to all of the hands-on instruments. These instruments are capable of a much wider range of experiments than are available on the autosamplers.
Training cost: $35/person, billable to a university CUFS number.
